Psychological Counselling

Individual psychological counselling for adults is available. Type of therapy may include CBT and mindfulness strategies where appropriate and strategies will be tailored to your needs.

 

Funding Available

With a Mental Health Care Plan referral from your GP, you are eligible for rebates of up to 10 sessions of psychological therapy per calendar year. Current medicare rebate with a General Registered Psychologist is $93.35. (With a session fee of $210, the gap fee or out of pocket fee after the rebate, per session is $116.65).

Other funding options include private health insurance, TAC, Workcover, NDIS (non-registered provider), VOCAT, and Melbourne City Mission’s FRMP Program.

 

Pricing

Psychological Therapy is $210 per 60 minute session.
